ASP.NET 2.0 - Validation Control

I am currently working on converting an ASP page to ASP.NET 2.0 with C#. The reason to convert to ASP.NET 2.0 is because ASP.NET is the successor to Microsoft's ASP technology, which it will replaced ASP for web development.

I'm impressed on the amount of things that ASP.NET can do. Basically I can develop a website similar to developing a Windows application, by simply drag and drop the buttons and controls. Yet, as easier as the software development wanted to be, the more complex it will be to learn the new technologies.

I encountered problems with the validation controller in ASP.NET, of which I would assume that the Custom Validation control can be used to write my own customized validation procedures. I was right at 1 point, and wrong at the other end. Even though the name implied customize, yet if I tried to develop a validation procedure that's already being handled by another type of validation control, then it will not work. I supposed that the rational behind this is not to re-invent the wheel; use the available controls, and create yours if there's none.

Yahoo! Messenger voice call & video call disabled, why?

Was trying to help my colleague to troubleshoot her laptop, where the Yahoo! Sport's Injuries - Treatment for bruises

I have a knock on both my legs last Sunday during a Futsal session. I have a knock on my lower right shin, while sprain my left ankle. It is not a pleasant experience at all to have both legs injured. It is very painful and totally immobilized me. What's important right now is to get it treated. I have tried to elevate both my legs in order to not let the blood concentrated at the injured spot, plus put ice at the injured area. I have even consulted with a doctor regarding the injuries, and am thankful that there's nothing wrong with my right shin. Still, it's not healing that well because the swelling has not resided. Web Development: Disable, Validate, & Enable Buttons

I bounced into this problem during a Web UI development, of which I'd say it's quite a common issue. Whenever a button is clicked, ideally it would be good to disable it to avoid continuous clicking. Of course, it may not be the case in certain circumstances, i.e. loading of images, of which sometimes clicking the button again would surely making it load faster. However, in the latest development that I involved in, I need to make sure that the button as to be disabled to avoid continuous clicking that would cause some Javascript error that would cause the whole website to stop working. I've no idea why this is happening, and my only explanation should be because the execution time is short & it's AJAX, therefore the continuous clicking would cause some process not able to be executed timely and causing this issue.
